Fourth, be in ministry/don’t be in ministry.
Although it sounds like a contradiction, it actually is.
There is freedom to not be in ministry while at Seminary. Therefore, don’t get unsettled if you are not doing as “much” ministry as before Seminary. There are seasons of training and laying the foundation, when we should step behind the curtain, and think hard about what to say next.
At the same time, if you are engaged in a lot of ministry…great…keep it up. Learning in the classroom, while at the same time using your hands is invaluable. Seminary learning without training in preaching, counseling, leading Bible Studies, and talking to people who are different than you could be a bust. You could crawl out not having the ability to dialogue with anyone but your former professors (who will soon stop talking to you).
